An electronics lab bench that opens in your browser

Draw with real schematic symbols, press Run and measure on a two-channel oscilloscope with probes and ground clips. It works on lab computers and on phones, with nothing to install.

  • Nothing to install
  • Free, no credit card
  • ANSI / IEEE schematic symbols

One lab round, from symbol to waveform

Each step below works like the editor. Try them: type a value, move R1, take a ground clip off.

Draw

Draw with the symbols from your textbook

Pick parts from the library and drop them on a canvas that snaps to the grid. Type each value the way it is printed on the part.

Try the value field: type a resistor value the way it is printed on the part.

4.7 kΩThat is 4700 Ω.

Run

Change a value while it runs

Move R1 and the scope follows at once: C1 charges faster or slower, and the cursor at t = τ moves with it. The capacitor keeps its charge, as it would on a real bench.

The traces on this page are drawn from the RC formula. In the editor, the simulation draws them.

FG1Square 50 Hz2.5 V +2.5 VR11 kΩC11 µFCH1CH2
X1 = τ

CH1 2 V/divCH2 2 V/div500 µs/div

CH2 at t = τ = 1 ms: 3.16 V, which is 63.2 % of 5 V

τ = 1 kΩ × 1 µF = 1 ms

Measure

Forgot the ground clip? The scope tells you.

In the lab, a probe without its ground clip gives a reading nobody can explain. Here the scope says what is missing instead of drawing a mystery line. Try it: take the CH2 clip off.

CH2 connected: it shows the voltage across C1.

X1 = τ

CH1 2 V/divCH2 2 V/div500 µs/div

CH2 at t = τ = 1 ms: 3.16 V, which is 63.2 % of 5 V

Instruments that work like the ones on the bench

Connect them on the canvas with probes or leads, and they read the circuit while it runs. The readings below are for the RC circuit above.

Two-channel oscilloscope

Probes with ground clips, CH1 yellow and CH2 cyan, as on a lab scope.

  • DC, AC and GND coupling
  • Auto, Normal and Single trigger
  • Two cursors and Autoset
  • Vpp, Vrms, mean, frequency and period

Bode plotter

Sweeps the frequency and draws gain and phase, so a filter's cutoff is a point you read off the curve.

−3 dB

−3 dB at 159 Hz

Voltmeter and ammeter

Clip a voltmeter across a part or put an ammeter in series. The reading sits on the symbol.

  • 3.16 VAcross C1 at t = τ
  • 1.84 mAThrough R1 at t = τ

Safe limits

Each part with a rating shows its live value next to the rating, and warns before a real part would get hot.

  • R1 power (peak)25 mW / 250 mW · Safe
  • C1 voltage5 V / 50 V · Safe

Also in the editor

  • Build sheet and Bill of Materials (BOM) as PDF or PNG
  • Share a circuit by link, view only
  • Undo and redo for every edit
  • Command palette (Ctrl/Cmd+K) and keyboard shortcuts
  • Bahasa Indonesia and English, switch any time
  • On a phone, tap a part, then tap the canvas to place it

Every part in the library

23 parts in 6 drawers, the same list as the library in the editor. Pick one to see its symbol and what it does.
