About Circuit Simulator
Circuit Simulator is a circuit simulator that runs in your browser. You draw a circuit with real schematic symbols, press Run, and measure it with the instruments of a lab bench, before you build it for real.
Who it is for
Students first: anyone learning electronics, at school or at university. Engineers who want a quick check are welcome too: every value field takes SI prefixes, and the meters and the scope show exact numbers.
What it does today
- Draw with ANSI/IEEE symbols: resistors, capacitors, inductors, diodes and LEDs, transistors, op-amps, switches and sources.
- Run the circuit live and change values while it runs, without losing the state it is in.
- Measure with a voltmeter, an ammeter, a two-channel oscilloscope and a Bode plotter.
- Get a build list of what to buy for the bench, and share a circuit by link.
How it works
The simulation runs on your own device, inside the browser, so there is nothing to install. Automated tests check its results against textbook formulas, such as an RC circuit charging to 63.2 % in one time constant.
It is in its first phase (Beta): some parts and instruments are still missing. It is a personal project, built and looked after by one developer.

Send an email. I will take a look at every message. It helps most when it says:
- what you did, step by step
- what you expected, and what happened instead
- your browser and device
- the share link of the circuit, if it has one
